Job Title: Training and Learning Specialist

Agriteam Canada Consulting Ltd. is recruiting a Training and Learning Specialist
Duties
• Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with key stakeholders
• Identifying opportunities for synergies with other donor-funded initiatives in Tanzania
• Assessing and monitoring the political environment with regard to teacher education in Tanzania
• Collecting, analyzing and synthesizing results related to improved gender-sensitive instruction for teacher trainees
• Tracking project results related to improved gender-sensitive instruction for teacher trainees
• Developing training plans for teacher instructors or teachers
• Developing training modules for teacher instructors or teachers
Education: Master’s Degree in Education, Education Management and/or Public Administration
• On-going professional development related to: Public Administration, Education, and/or teacher Education
Experience: • At least 10 years of experience, within the last 15 years, performing similar duties to those outlined under “Responsibilities”
• Demonstrated experience working with multiple stakeholders, including government representatives, regional authorities, teachers, development partners, educational institutions, non-governmental organizations, and/or the private sector
• At least 5 years of experience organizing and delivering large-scale training activities, focused on teacher education
• Experience using Results Based Management procedures (RBM)
• At least 5 years of experience working in a developing country, with preferably some experience working in Tanzania
Compensation
