DESIGNATION: ACCOUNT RELATIONSHIP MANAGER
LOCATION: ARUSHA BRANCH – PRIVATE BANKING UNIT

REPORTING TO: HEAD OF PRIVATE BANKING & SALES

Job Purpose:
To achieve quality business growth for the Private banking segment within assigned territory. The responsibilities incorporate marketing and selling personal banking products to existing and potential customers. In addition, sustaining customer satisfaction, to retain existing customers and generate additional business from those customers; and acquiring new customers through prospecting and sales activities.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

University Degree in Business related studies or equivalent.
At least S years successful experience in banking or customer relations, 3 of which should be in a sales role.
Practical experience in use of Microsoft Office Packages.
Technical skills to effectively perform Account Relationship Management activities/tasks in a manner that consistently achieves high quality standards or benchmarks.


DESIGNATION: BRANCH RELATIONSHIP OFFICER
LOCATION: ARUSHA BRANCH

REPORTING TO: BRANCH RETAIL MANAGER

Job Purpose:
To achieve business growth for Personal Banking by providing quality relationship management to existing customers in assigned branch/territory. This will entail sustaining customer satisfaction so as to retain them thereby generating additional business through cross-sell opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

University Degree in Business related studies or equivalent.
At least 4 years successful experience in banking or customer contact.
Relationship management skills to effectively perform Account Relationship Management activities/tasks.
Sales and negotiation skills to prospect and close business.
Practical experience in use of Microsoft Office Packages.



DESIGNATION: SECURITY & INVESTIGATION OFFICER
LOCATION: DAR ES SALAAM

REPORTING TO: SECURITY & INVESTIGATION MANAGER

Job Purpose:
To manage day to day security operations using guards and access equipment within the Bank’s operating premises, in order to ensure maximum protection of CBA’s human and material assets. The job includes maintenance of the access monitoring systems and custody of surveillance data.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

University degree or equivalent.
Must have served in the Police Force in the rank of at least an Inspector of Police for not less than 4 years and have attended relevant CID Courses and/ or has proven experience on fraud investigations, especially on bank frauds & Security Administration.
Working experience in a similar position in a Bank or Financial Institution.
Computer literacy- practical experience in use of MS Office applications.



DESIGNATION: Card Centre Officer
LOCATION: DAR ES SALAAM

REPORTING TO: Card Services Manager

Job Purpose:
To provide prompt, efficient and effective card operations and services so as to contribute to customer satisfaction and retention. Support ATMs operations for optimal up time and manage CRM logs and e-mails professionally. Review card and ATM suspense and P&L accounts. The job holder is also responsible for in-house card personalization and/or PIN Mailer production, Card/PIN Mailer distribution and mailing of monthly credit card statements.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

University Degree in Business related studies or equivalent.
Practical experience in use of relevant MIS,BI and MS Office applications.
Knowledge of relevant Card Products and service.
Technical skills to effectively perform Card Centre activities/tasks in a manner that consistently produces high quality of service.

Job title:  Banking Operations Officers
Employer: Tanzania Postal Bank, Application Deadline 16th June, 2017

Duties:
Guide prospective customers who come over the counter for enquiries.
Coordinate all counter activities while ensuring that quality service is provided to customers.
Receive Cash and Cheque deposits
Posting Transactions
Verify teller proof of cash and teller proof of cheques against actual documents by ticking and signing the printouts.
Scrutinize internal vouchers to ensure that they are properly drawn and authorized in line with the approval limits.
Handle Foreign Exchange Transactions
Cross sell Banks Products to Customers
Affixing photographs in new/continuation customer pass books
Correspond with Cards custodians on issues relating to ATM cards, check reports in order to solve customer complaints.
Any other duties as may be assigned by Supervisor/BFO from time to time.
Comply with the Policies and standards, Local laws and Regulations, Controls and Procedures of the Bank.

Education:
Bachelor degree/Advance diploma in Banking, Economics, commerce, Business Administration, Finance or Accounting from any recognized University or equivalent.

Experience:

At least 1-3 years of relevant Banking experience
Working knowledge of Equinox Functionality

Auditor, Operations

The Position:

Reporting to Audit Manager, the job holder will be required to  provide independent and objective assurance on the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes to add value and improve organization’s operations.

Bancassurance Officer

The Position:

The role holder will be responsible for the delivery of Bancassurance business performance through effective selling, excellent customer service and execution of operational Bancassurance services to the customers under the Bancassurance profile at the assigned Branch.

Insurance Claims Analyst

The Position:

Reporting to the Underwriting and Claims Manager, the role holder will be responsible for the day to day management of the claims with respect to the portfolios or/and branches allocated to them and will report to the Assistant Claims Manager.

Job Title: Relationship Manager – Commercial Banking

Duties

Pro-actively establishes, develops and maintains a team portfolio of Client Relationship ensuring that new relationships or ongoing requirements of existing clients attain maximum revenue within acceptable risk profile requirements by carrying out detailed financial analysis of the client accounts and develops proposals within defined Bank
procedures and often creates structured trade finance and treasury transactions and facilities using analytical and constructive thinking with a large degree of evaluative judgement to meet the client needs. Further adopts appropriate relationship management strategies to protect the Bank’s interest at all times e.g. potential defaults and to meet the clients expectations of the relationship with differing situations often requiring varied styles of creation or identification and selection of appropriate solutions.
Markets to large existing and potential clients the full complement of products and services offered by the Bank, including Financial Markets, Corporate and Institutional Bank Clients, Retail Clients and promotes within Standard Chartered Group opportunities by referring potential relationships to other countries in order that SCB may benefit on a Group basis.
Assesses and approves limit applications granted under discretionary powers and recommend applications for higher level approval where appropriate.


Education
Business or accounting related degree.
MBA/ACA preferred.

Experience
Minimum 7 years experience in a corporate banking environment of which minimum 2 years should be of managing corporate client relationships.
Sound understanding of corporate treasury products, trade finance products, Retail Clients products.
Strong credit appraisal and marketing skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial information.
A good understanding of the general, economic, political and business environment of the region.
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and negotiation skills.
High quality experience in a credit management position with proven ability to manage a team.

Our client, a commercial bank with operations in Tanzania, Kenya Rwanda and Uganda, is currently seeking to fill the positions of Bank Tellers to be based in Tanzania Branches.

Duties

Maintain the authorized cash limit for the cashier.
Ensure daily reconciliation of cash book system.
Ensure daily reports are captioned as per schedule of reports
Prompt reporting to operations supervisor on cash limits and timely evacuation of excess cash.
Ensure cash security is adhered to.
Responding promptly to customer inquiries.
Providing feedback to improve the efficiency of the customer service process
Attend to cheques and withdrawals in all accepted currencies according to laid-down procedures.
Attend to change transactions.
Accept cheque and/or cash deposits in all accepted currencies, according to laid-down procedures.
Ensure that cheques included in deposits are checked in terms of Duty of Care obligations.
Ensure that all items cashed are within laid-down limits and refer all transactions exceeding limits to the appropriate area for authorization.
Ensure that items cashed are technically correct and signed, according to laid-down instructions.

Experience
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar post.

Education
Degree or Diploma in Accounting/Banking/Co-operative Management, or any relevant qualifications in Business field.
Any relevant professional qualification added advantage.
