The Warehouse Receipt Regulatory Board (WRRB) was established by the Act No. 10 of 2005 as amended by Act No. 3 of 2015 to promote and administer Warehouse Receipt System (WRS) in the country. Warehouse Receipt System is a system which enables farmers to store their produce in a licensed warehouse and obtain a receipt as a title instrument.

2.0 QUALITY ASSURANCE OFFICER II – TWO (2) POSTS

2.1 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY
i. Undertake Inspectorate of all standard;
ii. Carry out Assurance of compliance to the laid down standards;
iii. Monitor settings and using of grades and standards;
iv. Liaise with TBS, TFDA to develop national standards using
certification scheme for commodities under trade;
v. Any other duty as may be assigned by the Manager

2.1 QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES
Holder of Degree either in Crop Science, or Commerce (Finance) from a recognized University or institution, proven knowledge of Warehouse Receipt Operations and must be Computer literate.

3.0 LICENSING OFFICER II – ONE (1) POST.

3.1 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i. Standard determination;
ii. Standard setting;
iii. Undertake preparation of the establishment of commodity exchange;
iv. Review and update the WRRB legislation and its operating procedure so as comply with other legislation of crop boards;

v. Any other duty as may be assigned by the Manager

3.2 QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES
Holder of Degree in Economics, from a recognized University or Institution, proven Knowledge of Warehouse Receipt Operations and must be Computer literate.

4.0 PLANNING OFFICER II – ONE (1) POST

4.1 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i. Promote warehouse receipt system as a means for credit access by smallholder producers
ii. Link stakeholders with banks for the credit purposes
iii. Advice the Manager in all matters related to marketing and credit facilities for the stakeholders who will deposit their commodity in a warehouse.
iv. Any other duty as may be assigned by the Manager



4.2 QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES
Holder of Degree in Regional Development Planning or Economics from a recognized University or institution, proven knowledge of Warehouse Receipt Operations and must be Computer literate.

5.0 DATA ADMINISTRATOR II – ONE (1) POST

5.1 DUTIES, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES

i. Codes program instructions
ii. Documents existing procedures and operating methods

v. Analyze documents, files and reports related to work flow

(ii) Documentary verification;
(iii) Prepare enquiries and offence files;
(iv) Assess and value goods;

(vi) Prepare various returns for Customs & Excise Headquarters;

1.3.1 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
General duties are to assist in overseeing proper operation and maintenance of computer systems, programming and business information systems, specifically will:
(i) Define business requirements of existing systems and suggest ways for improvements; modifications or enhancements of the system;
(ii) Develop software applications by using different computer languages;
(iii) Test software applications and support software implementation;
(iv) Prepare documentation by using different applications;
(v) Participate in the installation of operating systems and application systems;
(vi) Support users’ operational problems pertaining to software and hardware; and

1.4.0. SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR II – 4 POSTS
1.4.1 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
General duties are to ensure effectiveness and smooth operations of the system to users and perform both hardware and software related activities by;
(i) Providing computer support services both for software and hardware for an organization’s employees;
(ii) Testing of computers and ensuring that computer systems are functioning properly;
(iii) Physical setting up of computers and software system installation for various computer applications and programs;
(iv) Identifying and solving any problems that affect computer operating systems;
(v) Discussing with individual staff members who work on the computers what the problems is in order to figure out how to help solve the problem. Individual assessments of computer systems to identify the problem(s);
(vi) Helping in examination of network servers equipment and maintenance;
(vii) Maintaining of networking systems;
(viii) Maintaining and upgrading of computer systems or offering recommendations on upgrades needed;
(ix) Networking and connecting computers within the same organization to enhance communication;
(x) Training staff and orienting them on how to use computer hardware and software systems;

(i) Attend to employee grievances;
(ii) Interprets various regulations to staff;
(iii) Handle pension and terminal benefits schemes;
(iv) Coordinate staff performance appraisal process;
(v) Handle labour relation matters at workplace;

1.6.0 LEGAL COUNSEL II – 5 POSTS
1.6.1 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
General duties are to conduct prosecution and litigation of civil and criminal cases related to TRA and promptly report progress on each stage as well as the final outcome, specifically will.
(i) Identify Court cases which are suitable for settlement out of judicial processes and recommend to the supervisor;
(ii) Draft legal documents as may be assigned;
(iii) Give legal opinions or advise on matters related to functions and operations of TRA;
(iv) Propose amendment and give interpretation of laws administered by TRA;
(v) Handle administrative activities of the department as may be directed;
(vi) Identify potential risks in relation to activities of the department and report to the supervisor;
(vii) Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual performance reports; and
(viii) Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
1.6.2 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

(i) Prepare weekly/monthly revenue collection, transfers, revenue float and tax exemption reports;
(ii) Capture invoices, payment vouchers and credit memos in the expenditure accounting system;
(iii) Prepare salary journal vouchers, deduction schedules, print salary slips and distribute to regions and departments;
(iv) Prepare monthly expenditure reports and supporting schedules;
(v) Prepare budget and physical performance report for the Finance Unit on quarterly basis;
(vi) Participate in quarterly stock taking exercise;
(vii) Ensure that all over-the-counter receipts are banked intact and promptly;

(ii) Prepare and update Estate Register and housing inventory;
(iii) Draft and advice review of lease agreements;

JOB SUMMARY
Teach oral and written Kiswahili, English and French languages to refugees and asylum seekers
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Classroom management;
Planning, preparing and delivering lessons to a range of classes and age groups;
preparing and setting tests, examination papers and exercises;
Marking and providing appropriate feedback on oral and written work;
Devising, writing and producing new materials, including audio and visual resources;
Organizing and getting involved in social and cultural activities such as sports competitions, school parties, dinners and excursions;
Attending and contributing to training sessions;
Preparing information for inspection visits and other quality assurance exercises;
Freelance teaching on a one-to-one basis;
Basic administration, such as keeping learners registers and attendance records.
Prepare and submit reports on all activities on learning progress at the centre every month.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Holder of a diploma or degree in linguistics
Must be proficient in linguistics.
2-3 year Experience working in teaching languages (Kiswahili, English and French).

(b) Qualifications and Experience:
Applicants should possess the following academic and professional qualifications:
 Holder of Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education for the Deaf from a recognized
and reputable institution.
(c) Main Duties:
 Assists in facilitating communication between hearing and deaf/hard-of-hearing
consumers;
 Provides students with sign language interpreter services in educational
settings, including classrooms, conferences, field trips, meetings with school
staff, telephone calls, after-school and extracurricular activities, and other
school-related functions and activities for students and staff;
 Translates sign language into English and Swahili in Academic presentation i.e.
Seminars, Workshops and Conferences;
 Becomes aware of students’ language and skill levels, ensuring appropriate
interpreting techniques;
 Reviews students Individualized Education Plan (IEP), as appropriate;
 Monitors the need for assistive technology, including hearing aids, cochlear
implants, teletypewriter (TTY), closed captioning systems, frequency
modulation (FM) amplification systems, and other assistive technology;
 Facilitates communication between hearing and deaf/hard-of-hearing
consumers; and
 Performs any other duties as may be assigned by one’s reporting officer

Duties
Lead the strategic planning of the Medical College in Tanzania and participates in strategic planning activities of the Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS) in East Africa and Aga Khan Health Services in Tanzania.
Provides supervision and mentorship to senior Medical College leadership (PGME Programme Director, Chairs).
Recruitments of all senior leadership positions within the Medical College and where appropriate co-leadership of the process with the CEO of AKHS (Chairs) as appropriate.
Ensures the development, implementation and quality review of all academic programmes (education and research).
Ensures a faculty and staff development programme is in place.
Establishes strong working relationship with School of Nursing & Midwifery in Tanzania and other AKU entities and AKDN agencies to ensure coordinated planning, implementation and quality control of common programmes.

Education
Master of Medicine or its equivalent; PhD or equivalent in relevant field preferred

Experience
