Education: Bachelors /Diploma in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering

Experience: 1-3 years of working experience in maintenance of Electrical Equipments such as Diesel generators, Transformers, UPS, ATS, Synchronization Panels and HT Switch gears for Bachelor’s degree holder.
• 8-10 years of working experience in maintenance of Electrical Equipments such as Diesel generators, Transformers, UPS, ATS, Synchronization Panels and HT Switch gears for Diploma holders.

• Compiling and editing all kinds of reports, including SHIPO annual report.
• Writing and edit official messages to authorities, beneficiaries and current or potential partners and donors.
• Supervise the contents of SHIPO’s website and manage SHIPO’s profile in Visible Impact online platform and in any approvedsocial networks. The officer will be in charge of posting news, interviews, links, videos, pictures and other updates in a weekly basis. In order to do this, the communication officer will be also responsible for writing articles and reports, conducting interviews with authorities, partners and beneficiaries and to publish in different communication and outreach platforms.

Education: Adegree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Public Relations and Publicity, Linguistics (specialities in English and Kiswahili) or other related degrees.

Experience: Three years of experience working in the same or related field is preferred.
